We are in the midst of winter and our greenhouse is fighting the elements of whatever comes our way. Surprisingly, with a few nights of -13°C, our roses and geraniums have survived with no heat!
We have had 3 storms with winds exceeding 50 mph, 2 snowstorms with 8 inches each. It withstood these conditions without any difficulty
Recently in 2022, we had a freak storm go through the Ottawa area causing extensive damage and widespread power outages. The wind storm was equivalent than EF -2 tornado with winds of 190 km/hr which caused many very large trees to be uprooted in our area (including next door a few feet from the greenhouse). The only damage was the result of the roof vents being open and one was ripped off. It was easily put back with a few screws. Nothing else in the greenhouse was damaged and all the plants remained untouched.
Missouri's weather is very changeable, from well below zero with blizzards and ice storms in the winter, to 100 plus degrees with tornadoes and thunderstorms in the summer. Just wanted to say, THANKS and what a joy it has been dealing with y’all!”

My GH certainly has extended my growing season in NH. Working in my GH is no work at all. It is a pleasure. It is so pretty inside and out. It is both therapeutic as well as a wonderful-looking addition to my backyard. This GH is so well constructed and sturdy and of the highest quality.”
During the winter I have a HID light that goes back and forth on a track. I had it on an for five hours after it got dark each night during daylight savings time. We had carrots, lettuce, pole beans, bush beans, basil, and a tomato plant. "We have been enjoying the vegetables of our labors for two winters now. Around Christmas time, the scarlet runner beans were flowering. There is nothing like fresh beans in December and the greenhouse buried under snow!

The greenhouse is great. We added a cedar stain and preservative, now it is a deeper red-brown. It is gorgeous. Every single piece has fit together perfectly. Thank you so much.

"My greenhouse survived hurricane Gustav with no problem."

Even though we evacuated, I know that we had winds in excess of 130 mph at times. I expected to see parts of the greenhouse all over the field, because of the damage to houses and barns that we saw returning home. I was very pleased to see, that nothing was out of place. A few of my neighbors could not believe that it was still standing.
